Hirshabeelle police officers who are protesting against four months of unpaid wages have blocked the main road in Baledweyne.

We have been missing money for four months and we have already bought clothes and ammunition for 100 dollars. On the other hand, a statement issued by the Hiran State administration said that today the Daravish army of that administration was joined by 250 soldiers who defected from the Hirshabeelle administration.
“The army, which is about 250-soldiers, did not receive their right to pay from the previous administration of Ali Gudlawe for a period of four months, which led them to run away from him. The governor of Hiran region, Abdicazis Ahmed Adoow Jaaburi, along with the governor of Upper Shabelle region. Abdiladhif Farah Adan and the head of Hiran region youth, Abdi Mumin Ilmi Hiish, have convinced the soldiers to join the Dervish army of the Hiraan state government and they will get permanent rights every month, which the army has already accepted.
