The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamsa Abdi Barre, today opened the National Conference of Somali youth in Mogadishu to implement the National Youth Policy.
This conference, which is the 9th gathering of Somali youth, will last for three days, and was attended by hundreds of young people from the regions of the country and abroad. and reflect their needs.
“The development of the country is hindered by four things that if not overcome together, no progress can be made, which are insecurity, tribalism, corruption and drugs, and the youth are required to help the government to eradicate them,” said Raysal. Minister Hamse Abdi Barre
Hamse Abdi Barre praised the Somali youth for their role in the defense of the country, especially those who are educated and pointed out that they are playing a significant role in the security of the country, building the government and the fight against Al-Shabaab groups.
In conclusion, the Prime Minister said that his government is creating job opportunities for the Somali youth, and he praised the Ministry of Youth and Sports for organizing and bringing together the Somali youth to contribute their ideas to the construction of the government.
