The President of the Republic of Somaliland held an break the fast and dinner meeting with the country’s leading scholars.
Hargeisa-02-04-2023- ()- The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Muse Bihi Abdi, held a large gathering of Ifur and dinner at the presidential palace for the great scholars of Somaliland.
The President was attended by the Vice President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Abdullahi Ismail (Sailici), the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, lawyer Adan Haji Ali Ahmed, the First Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives, Mr. Said Mire Farah (Girre), members of the cabinet, some of the great scholars of Somaliland, politicians and other leaders of Somaliland, and on the occasion, speeches were read based on the importance of scholars and how they are the leaders in the success of life in the Hereafter.
First of all, the former minister of the Ministry of Religion and Endowment, Sheikh Mohamud Sufi Muhammad, Sheikh Beled Borama, Sheikh Abdullahi Sheikh Ali Jawhar and scholar Abdirashid Mohamed Baheer who spoke there, spoke in depth about the role of scholars in the prosperity and success of the nation. urging the leaders of the country to give special importance to the protection of the Islamic religion and people.
The Minister of Religion and Endowments of the Republic of Somaliland, Sheikh Abdirisaaq Hussein Ali (Albany), thanked the president for honoring the country’s scholars and the importance he always gives to the advice of Ahlu Dinah people.
The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Muse, who concluded the event, first of all thanked the Ministry of Religion and Endowments for its role in the meeting between the President and the scholars, and underlined that he always listens to the suggestions made by the scholars, his decisions taking it based on.
