Presidential candidate Dr. Omar Faruq, one of the candidates standing for the leadership of the country, has arrived in Mogadishu, the capital of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
While in the city, the candidate met with various sectors of society, such as academics, civil society organizations, businessmen, and other sectors of society. The purpose of these meetings was for the candidate to observe the real security, social, and economic situation in the Somali capital of Mogadishu.
Dr. Omar Faruq is also planning to travel to the regions of the country and state governments, to closely assess the conditions of the Somali people, and listen to the needs and views of the people living in different parts of the country.
After completing these trips and public consultations, the candidate will officially announce his political plan and candidacy program for the leadership of the country.
Dr. Omar Faruq is an experienced lawyer, having served as a legal and regulatory advisor to various governments in the country.
Dr. Omar Faruq is also the founder of Faruq Public Notary, a notary and legal advisory firm that has long served the Somali community.
