The Arab Parliament has announced that it will take regional and international political measures to support the security, stability and sovereignty of Yemen and Somalia, while clearly rejecting any interference in the internal affairs of the two countries.

This decision was adopted in an official statement issued by the Arab Parliament during the opening of the second session of the general assembly of the second cycle, of the fourth legislative chapter, which took place at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo.

The statement stressed the importance of respecting the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of States, and striving for peaceful solutions that preserve the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of the Arab countries.

The Arab Parliament called on Arab governments and parliaments to show their full solidarity and support for Yemen and Somalia, and to take the necessary measures to ensure the security and stability of the two countries, reiterating its complete rejection of any foreign interference.

Since Israel stood up for the recognition of Somaliland, there has been strong pressure from Arab and Islamic countries, which has strengthened the diplomatic efforts of the Federal Government.
