Additional reports are coming in of various killings that have taken place in the past few hours in Beledxawo town, Gedo region.
In the Farjano neighborhood of Beledxawo district, 5 civilians were killed last night, one of whom was said to be sick, and the five people were two brothers and two others who were close relatives of the sick person.
Reports also indicate that this morning in the same city of Beledxawo, a police officer, whose name was Farax Dheere, was killed.
The killings are said to be related to clan feuds, and in recent times, killings related to revenge for clan feuds have been increasing in areas and districts of South and Central Somalia.
Latest reports indicate that the police forces in the district have begun searching for the groups that are committing the killings in Beledxawo town, and it is worth noting that this morning a tense situation is felt in the district of Beledxawo, Gedo region.
Finally, there is still no news from the security forces, the district administration, or the Gedo region regarding the killings that occurred in Beledweyne town in the last few hours.
