Reports from the Bakaara Main Market in Howlwadaag District indicate that one person has died and 12 others have been injured after a building they were building collapsed.

Witnesses told the media that a group of 20 to 30 workers were working on the building, which was being built with several pianos.

Witnesses said that when the building collapsed, the workers were pouring concrete into the building and the equipment they were using to pour concrete was cut off.

They said that the incident occurred at around 6:40 am in the Bakaara Main Market, and as soon as they started working, the floor they were working on collapsed. Most of the injured suffered the most serious injuries in the back, such as their legs, as they jumped from the windows of the building in the upper parts where the concrete was being poured.

This is not the first time that a wealthy worker has collapsed with a building collapse in Mogadishu, and recently, several piano buildings have been rapidly collapsing in the capital.
