The President of Jubaland State, Ahmed Mohamed Islam Madobe, left Kismayo this morning on a private plane and is heading to Nairobi, the capital of Kenya.

It is his first trip since Ahmed Madobe was re-elected as the President of Jubaland.

The reports we are getting say that Ahmed Madobe will have meetings with the ambassadors of the international community in Kenya and they will discuss issues related to the politics of Somalia, especially the conflict between the government and also the issues of projects received by Jubaland.

Other sources indicate that Ahmed Madobe is heading to the United Arab Emirates for an official visit.

The conflict between Jubaland and the Federal Government which resulted from the changes made in the constitution and the electoral system has resulted in the Government issuing an arrest warrant for the President of Jubaland Ahmed Madobe.
