The Somali Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) has given details of a planned operation that took place in the village of Jambalul under the Afgoye district of the Lower Shabelle region.
In this operation, which took place last night at midnight, fighters belonging to the Al-Shabaab group were killed.
NISA said that the operation was carried out by the Somali military, and it was confirmed that it was successful and four members of Al-Shabaab were killed.
The members who were killed were accused of being part of the activities of collecting extortion money from the Al-Shabaab group, and the names of the members who were killed have been mentioned.
