The President of Jubaland State, Ahmed Mohamed Islam Ahmed Madobe, has appointed the Independent Committee for Jubaland Borders and Elections.
The members of the committee consist of seven members and he instructed them to prepare a public election while the Federal Government refused to hold anything other than a personal election in the country.
This appointment will increase the political conflict between the Federal Government and the Jubaland Administration, this will mean that it will be a blow to the efforts of the President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, to hold elections in the country. .
