Agreement between Somalia and Tanzania approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Somalia.

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia last night approved a memorandum of understanding between Somalia and Tanzania in a meeting held at their headquarters in Mogadishu.

The meeting was chaired by the Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre.

The meeting also heard various reports related to the general security of the country and the war against Al-Shabaab from the Minister of Defense and Security of the Government of Somalia.

The Ministry of Finance of the Federal Government also presented the meeting with information on the sales tax implemented in the country and how the government is committed to efforts to develop the country’s economy.

Finally, this agreement on defense cooperation between the two countries of Somalia and Tanzania, which was approved by the Council of Ministers, is part of such agreements that the government of Somalia has already signed with many governments such as Egypt, Turkey and Azerbaijan.
