The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud chaired the meeting of the National Consultative Council where the leaders of the Council are focusing on the security situation of the country, especially how to speed up the fight against the Al-Shabaab group, the completion of the democratization process, and the implementation of the previous agreements of the National Consultative Council. .

The meeting was attended by the President of Jubbaland, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, the President of South West, Abdizais Hassan Mohamed, the President of Galmudug, Ahmed Abdi Kariye, the President of Hirshabelle Ali Abdullahi Hussein and the governor of Banadir region and the mayor of Mugadis Yusuf Hussein Jimale.
