The two officials were welcomed there by the commander who was removed from this position, Sergeant Sulub Ahmed Firin, who is now the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Transport and Aviation of the Government of Somalia.
The Minister and the new Commander observed the working process of the leaders and the independent sessions of the Police Force, and after the observation, the Minister transferred the general file and the leadership of the force and took over the office of the new Commander Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi. After that, Commander Asad Diyano instructed the Somali Police officers to speed up the performance of their duties in ensuring the security of the country, protecting the life, property, honor of Somali citizens and the implementation of the rules and regulations of the Somali Police Force.
It was last Thursday when the Somali Council of Ministers approved the appointment of Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi Diyano who today officially took over from the former Commander Sulub Ahmed Firin.
