The Somali forces, especially the 9th battalion of the 60th division, carried out a planned attack in Kederar Adde area, one of the areas under Hudur district of Bakool region.
It was reported that there was a fight between the armed forces and members of the Al-Shabaab group who were gathering in the area of Kederar Adde, which is approximately 30 km northwest of Hudur district.
A brief news release from the Federal Government said that the armed forces took over the group from their positions in the area of Kedar Adde and inflicted heavy losses on the members of the area.
“The plan for the operation was carried out and there were casualties among the Khawarij who were stationed in a training camp in Kederar-Adde area. said in the statement issued by the Federal Government.
This operation is coming, as in the past few days, there have been operations like this in areas and districts of Bay and Bakool regions to fight Al-Shabaab in Bay and Bakool regions.
