The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, has officially received the diplomatic credentials from the new Ambassador of Somalia to the United States, Dahir Hassan Arab.
Somalia’s ambassador to Washington, Dahir Hassan Arab, said that President Biden discussed strengthening relations between the two countries, Somalia and the United States.
Ambassador Dahir Arab also said that he thanked the US government for its support to Somalia in the areas of security, human rights and humanitarianism and other areas of development.
“President Biden promised that they will always stand by Somalia and help in the fields of peace, development, reconstruction and good governance,” said Ambassador Dahir Hassan Arab.
The new Somali ambassador to Washington noted that he shared a congratulatory message with the outgoing President of the United States, Joe Biden, from the President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
Finally, Ambassador Dahir Hassan Arab was one of the 12 ambassadors and their deputies recently appointed by the Federal Government.
