The commander of the second battalion of the Darwish army of the Jubbaland administration, Mohamud Abdi Fanax, gave more details about the damage caused by the heavy fighting that took place this morning in the area of Janay Abdalla in the Lower Jubba region.
Commander Fanax said that in the morning’s battle in Janay Abdalla, they defeated the members of Al-Shabaab who attacked the area, and their bodies are located in Janay Abdalla.
“The dead bodies of the Khawarij are located inside the city of Janay Abdalla. We are looking for the injured people. They also found a lot of weapons. The enemy met with an unexpected attack this morning. I saw the bodies of four of the Khawarij on the streets.” said Commander Mohamud Abdi Fanah.
He also pointed out to the commander of the second battalion of the Jubbaland Darwish army that Al-Shabaab will not attack the bases of the Jubbaland Darwish army again.
“From now on our stations will not be attacked by the Khawarij, we will target their hiding places, now we are looking for casualties under the trees with the Khawarij who attacked Janay Abdalla this morning” said the Commander of the Second Brigade of the Jubbaland Dervishes Mohamud Abdi Fanax.
Finally, the Jubbaland Darwish army and the Danab commandos have been conducting operations against the Al-Shabaab group in areas and districts of the Lower Jubba region for the past few months.
