A soldier of the Somali Armed Forces was executed in a public square in Aabudwaq, Galgaduud region today.
newsinsde The soldier who was executed by firing squad was named Mohamed Kaafi Abdi, who a few days ago admitted to the Galgaduud regional court that he deliberately killed a deceased named Duran Jama Mohamed.
The shooting of Mohamed Kaafi is coming, after the Galgaduud regional court demanded that the execution of the deceased be executed.
At the scene of the shooting, there were officers from the Galgaduud regional court and other officials, who said that anyone who commits a deliberate murder will be punished by being shot.
However, in the town of Aabudwaq in the Galgaduud region, this year alone, around 10 people were shot dead who were found to have killed people including soldiers and civilians, and this came after the elders of that town agreed that the Islamic Sharia execute anyone who kills someone.
