The president of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi, said that any pressure that exists will implement the agreement between Somaliland and Ethiopia.
The president, who was speaking to hundreds of people in the city of Togwajale, said that the agreement will be implemented despite the pressures.
“The MoU will be implemented, it is certain, let those who disagree, let them disagree. Today, the Hamar faction that brought the Egyptian army is saying that there are no two sides. We will unite Somalis and fight the Ethiopians, and I will bring them to Egypt and destroy Somaliland,” he said. President Bihi.
He said that he is working for the benefit of Somaliland, which will not be a place for Egypt to campaign for its interests, saying that Ethiopia cannot be hostile to its neighbor Somaliland and cannot agree with Egypt.
He said that Somali people from Kenya and Ethiopia are against the agreement between Somaliland and Ethiopia, he said that they need to come to their countries.
The agreement between Somaliland and Ethiopia has created conflict between Somalia and Ethiopia, with Ethiopia once again angered by the Egyptian troops who are expected to come to Somalia.
