The participants of the demonstration expressed their displeasure that the Ethiopian army was replaced by the Egyptian army.
They expressed concern that the Egyptian army could undermine the stability of the region and worsen the problems faced by the local people, who have been facing threats from the Al-Shabaab group for a long time.
They called on the Federal Government to focus on resolving issues with Ethiopia instead of creating new obstacles.
The Somali government wants the Ethiopian troops not to be part of the peacekeeping operation in Somalia, considering that Ethiopia has violated the sovereignty of Somalia when it entered into a maritime agreement with Somaliland.
