The security forces of the Somali government have arrested a police officer who recorded himself abusing the people of Dharkenley district in Mogadishu.
The video shows the soldier named Mohamed Hussein Warsame pointing a gun at people passing by. Warsame argued that he was filming himself.
The police command confirmed that the officer will be brought before a court to face the charges against him.
This incident comes two days after a government soldier killed a muscular man named Ismail Ali Mohamed in Hamarjajab district.
The deceased, a father of four, was killed for less than $0.25, equivalent to 3,000 Somali shillings. The soldier who committed the murder escaped from the scene.
