The Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed said that there is no need for Somalia to go around the neighboring countries and others, complaining about Ethiopia’s interference in the unity of Somalia.
Abiy Ahmed, who was speaking to the parliament of his country today, said that the conflict between Somalia and Ethiopia can be ended in one hour.
“It is very easy because we did not have any war with the government of Somalia, but instead, the government of Somalia chose to go around the world and accuse us,” said RW Abiy.
“My advice is, don’t waste money; “There is no need to travel to other countries to sue us, as it is possible to come to us in Addis Ababa. We are ready for dialogue, said the Prime Minister, adding that the cost of Somalia’s foreign travel is good for the construction of a school located 1 km from Mogadishu that will benefit the people.
Prime Minister Aby Ahmed said that they have sacrificed Somalia for peace, and at the same time the ruling party in his country has shown its respect for Somalia and its people. He noted that they gave power to Somalia, and since then they have no question about Somalia’s citizenship.
“Ethiopia does not want the separation of Somalia; She didn’t sacrifice her children “if she wanted that,” said Aby Ahmed.
Speaking about the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of 01 January (MoU) in Somaliland, Abiy said that it was signed after Ethiopia presented the agreement to all neighboring countries.
