The president went to this area to speed up the fight against Al-Shabaab and the elders of the area talked to them about how to play their part in the fight to free Al-Shabaab from their areas in the Middle Shabelle region.
He also said President Hassan Sheikh that the federal government has prepared equipment, vehicles, military facilities and weapons to complete the operation to liberate the country from the Al-Shabaab group.
“The President of the Republic inspected the Military Base that was implemented in this area which facilitates the Somali Armed Forces with the important technical needs for the front line of the war and the completion of the mission to liberate the country from Al-Shabaab terrorists,” said a news release from the Somali Presidency.
The visit of the President of Somalia for the second day in the Wargadhi area of the Middle Shabelle region has come to an end, as in the past months there has been a pause in the momentum of the war against the Al-Shabaab group, which has been going strong for the past year. and the Al-Shabaab group was liberated from those operations in a large area.
