More news is coming out about the casualties caused by the suicide bombing that took place yesterday afternoon at a checkpoint in Howlwadaag neighborhood in Baledweyne.
This explosion was used in a vehicle filled with explosives known to Somalis as Homey or Aasi, and it has been confirmed that 5 people including soldiers and civilians were killed.
The control point where the explosion occurred is located in front of a military camp where the Djibouti army, part of the African Union’s ATMIS mission, had been there for almost 10 years. the government forces moved.
The people who were injured in the blast are said to be 10 civilians and soldiers, and most of the wounded were taken to the Baledweyne General Hospital for treatment.
This Suicide Bombing is going on, and for the past few months, Baledweyne has been resistant to such explosions by the Al-Shabaab group in Baledweyne.
