The Galmudug administration has called for an unconditional end to the war between the fighting clans in the west of Mudug region.
Galmudug also said in the press that it has sent a committee of Ministers, MPs and other officials to the fighting areas to work on peace between the fraternal clans that are fighting each other.
“We request that the commissions assigned by Galmudug and Puntland for the ceasefire and peace be obeyed, and that the work of the forces agreed by the authorities of the two states be taken into account to be sent to the places where the war took place,” said a press release from the Galmudug Presidency.
This press release from the Presidency of Galmudug administration is coming, as this morning in the area of Galdogob district in Mudug region, a tribal war broke out between two militias from the Saad and Leelakase clans.
In the areas of Galmudug administration, there have been repeated clan wars and horrific murders based on clans, which are between some of the communities living in the areas of the administration.
