The Prime Minister of the Somali government, Hamse Abdi Barre, said that Somalia will not go back to elections similar to those previously held in the Afisyoni tent.

Prime Minister Hamse said that their decision is clear, saying that they are working on the electoral process that the country has moved to.

“We are not hiding it and we are not telling lies. It is clear to us and we are working to make sure that the next tent is not chosen. Anyone who wants us to continue should know the danger we took in the past. Our responsibility tells us not to go back to what happened.” passed”. He said the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister said this at a meeting on reconciliation issues organized by the Ministry of Interior, Federal and Reconciliation.

The two houses of parliament have recently approved the move from the parliamentary system used to elect the president of Somalia. They changed it so that the Somali people elect the president themselves.

However, there is a political conflict between the federal government and some of the regional governments.

The regional governments, which govern most of the country, are not close to the new process, although they were initially part of the agreement to amend the country’s elections, with the exception of the Puntland regional government.
