In the town of Baledweyne, the capital of Hiran region, there is a war that lasted for more than 6 hours, between the forces of Hirshabeelle and Hiran State.
The war started last night at around 11:00 pm when Hirshabeelle forces attacked positions of Hiran State in Lamagalay camp.
It has been confirmed that the war that lasted for many hours, which sometimes took place sporadically, resulted in the death of 6 people from the warring parties and civilians who were shot in their homes while they were sleeping.
The government forces that left Hiran state are still in control of the regional administration centers and Baledweyne district, while those of Hirshabelle are in the Baledweyne district base and its surroundings.
This battle comes a day after the Djibouti army moved out of the regional and district administration centers, and both sides are fighting for control of those places.
