The leader of SSC, Khatumo Abdiqadir Aw Ali Firdhiye, called on the people of Las’anod to defend themselves against the war that Somaliland is planning.
Firdhiye, who spoke to the people of Lasaanood at the Abdi Bille Abdi football stadium, said that Somaliland is planning an invasion of SSC-Khatumo areas.
“You know that Musa and his regime say that we are going to start a war. Musa, we say do whatever you want. We are waiting for you. We are waiting for you. If you break the will of God, you will lose,” Firdhiye said.
Leader Firdhiye has warned Somaliland against the war in the SSC-Khatumo areas and called on the people of Somaliland to be wise with President Muse Bihi Abdi, as he said.
He said that they fought to decide for themselves, and not for others, saying that they lost thousands of people in the 8-month war against Somaliland.
“We are still standing for the cause and we are dying for it. Let’s not forget the 7-year-old children who were hit by the cannon. We will die for them and we will be martyred for them,” Firdhiye said.
Some of the cultural leaders of SSC Khatumo recently said that they have received information that Somaliland is attacking SSC-Khatumo areas, although we are not talking about Somaliland.
