Ethiopia has celebrated the 46th anniversary of the transfer of what it called the victory of Karamara, which they said, was the defeat of Somali forces in Ethiopia in the war in 1977.

The Ethiopian News Agency (ENA) reported that Karama’s victory represented “a precious sacrifice to defend Ethiopia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.”
