The Somali U17 national team produced a stunning display in Addis Ababa, after drawing 3-3 with Ethiopia in their first match of the East and Central Africa Cup of Nations.
In their third match at the tournament, the Ocean Stars U17 showed great determination and skill, coming back from a 3-1 deficit to beat Ethiopia in the dying minutes of the match.
The Somali boys scored two quick goals that changed the course of the match, securing a draw that left the crowd in shock.
Somalia continues their unbeaten run, drawing with South Sudan, Kenya and hosts Ethiopia in their last three matches.
The under-17 team now faces a daunting task of securing a decisive victory in their final match against Rwanda, scheduled for the 24th of this month, to give them a full chance of advancing to the next stage of the competition.
