The Secretary General of the Somali Salvation Forum, Dr. Mohamed Aden Koofi, said that the Federal Government is plotting to attack members of the opposition.
Koofi revealed that police forces from the Banadir region illegally entered his residence in Mogadishu and ordered him to leave.
“This afternoon, at around 4:00pm, soldiers who claimed to be from the region illegally and aggressively entered my house and ordered me to leave the neighborhood,” said Dr. Koofi, the Secretary General of the Somali Salvation Forum.
He noted that he responded to the police action respectfully and in accordance with security and government, and indicated that he informed them to come with legal documents and return to the sender.
“I have been receiving warning messages before, saying that there is a plan to target members of the Somali Salvation Forum, and in general the opposition who have different views from the government leaders, but I do not understand why every government starts its operation with Mohamed Madarkicis.” he continued.
Until now, the Banadir Regional Police Command has not addressed the accusation from the Secretary General of the Somali Salvation Forum that they went to his home and ordered him to move out, as well as the Federal Government, which he accused of planning to attack members who do not share his views.
