The Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Muungaab), last night removed the Governors of Dharkeenleey and Waaberi Districts and appointed new ones to replace them.
The Mayor of Mogadishu, Muungaab, appointed Omar Meeyre Mocoow, the Governor of Dharkeenleey District in Banadir Region, and removed the position of the Governor of that District from Mahmoud Haji Ali Fiidoow.
The Governor of Muungaab also appointed Hussein Hassan Mohamed, the Governor of Waaberi District in Banadir Region, and removed the position of the Governor of that District from Mohamed Sayid Ali.
The Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Muungaab), urged the new Governors to prioritize the development of the District, its beautification, and the provision of basic services.
This is the first work done by Governor Muungaab, who has only been in office for 2 days since he took over the position of Governor of Banadir Region, and it is possible that in the coming days he will also make changes to other District Administrations in Banadir Region.
