The General Commander of SSC Khaatumo, Garaad Jamaad Garaad Ali, called on Somaliland to either accept peace or war, but they cannot rule the territory of SSC Khaatumo.
He said that peace has not yet been achieved in Somaliland, however, the General Sultan of Somaliland has accepted peace, since, as he said, he comes from a great generation of wise people.
“I say that war is not in our interest, but we have not had peace with the men who caused trouble between us until now. Except for Sultan Da’uud Sultan Abdiqadir who gave us clear and understandable information. I am not coming to your homes, and I will not allow you to invade mine,” said Garaad Jamaad.
He called on Somaliland to accept only two options: to accept direct war and attack each other again, or to accept peace and declare that it has nothing to do with the administration of SSC Khaatumo.
He said that Somaliland’s talk of bringing peace to Eastern Sool is a non-working plan, and the only solution is to accept the SSC Khaatumo administration.
Some SSC intellectuals and the Sultan General of Somaliland, Sultan Da’uud Sultan Mohamed Sultan Abdiqadir, recently jointly declared peace.
