The Algerian government has said that it wants to support Somalia in its fight against terrorist groups, and this statement was made by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ibrahim Boughali, who welcomed his Somali counterpart, Sheikh Aden Madoobe.
The press release issued at the meeting of the two Speakers stated that the Algerian government is ready to share its pioneering experience in the fight against terrorism with the Republic of Somalia.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives of Algeria stressed that the stability of all Arab countries depends on the stability of Somalia.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives of Somalia pointed out the need to strengthen exchanges and develop cooperation between Algeria and Somalia in various fields, stressing that his country appreciates the important role that Algeria plays in the Arab world.
Finally, the two Speakers signed an agreement to exchange visits between the two parliaments, training and to enhance cooperation between Somalia and Algeria.
