The Minister of Interior of the Federal Government of Somalia, Ali Yusuf Ali Xoosh, arrived in Lascaanod, the capital of the Sool region of the SSC Khaatumo administration, on Friday.
His visit is said to be a prelude to a visit by the Prime Minister of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, to Lascaanod tomorrow.
Prime Minister Hamse will inaugurate development projects funded by the Federal Government and new ones that will be laid.
This visit was described as one to strengthen relations between the Federal Government of Somalia and the SSC-Khaatumo administration.
Since yesterday, various delegations including ministers, members of both houses of the Federal Parliament, and other officials have been flowing into Lascaanod.
Minister Xoosh said that the Federal Government is committed to supporting the SSC-Khaatumo administration and improving the lives of the people living in those areas.
Xoosh noted that the government is ready to work closely with the SSC Khaatumo administration.
