Rep. Brandon Gill, a member of the Republican Party of Texas, plans to distribute a petition asking his supporters to sign to deport Ilhan Omar, a member of the Democratic Party, including the United States Congress.
Gill previously called for Ilhan Omar to be deported, arguing that she is more loyal to undocumented immigrants in the United States from her country of Somalia than the United States.
Ilhan Omar became a US citizen in 2000 after fleeing Somalia’s civil war. Ilhan is known for her fierce criticism of President Donald Trump.
“Dude, we should have never let Ilhan Omar into our country,” Gill wrote on his blog X. “Indeed, America would be a much better place if Ilhan was sent back to Somalia.”
Finally, he accused Ilhan of being loyal to Somalis compared to the United States and the elected office.
