The Puntland Defense Forces are said to have foiled an attack launched by the Daesh group at midnight last night against the Puntland forces in the Haraya area of the Jaceel stream in the Calmikaad mountains.
The page that transmits the information of the Hilaac operation against Daesh has displayed the bodies of the fighters of the Daesh group, who were killed in the war and those who blew themselves up.
Officials of Puntland army said that they have already followed the information of this attack, saying that they shot all the Daesh group that launched the attack. They also said that the loss of the army is limited.
It is not yet known the extent of the losses on both sides. Puntland said that it will detail the war losses later.
This is the second attack by Daesh directly against Puntland forces, since the war against Daesh started in December last year.
