The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, Ahmed Macalim Fiqi, reacted to the press conference held yesterday in Mogadishu by the former President of Somalia Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, MP Abdirahman Abdishakur and Prof. Abdi Ismail Samatar, one of the senators of the upper house of the Somali Parliament, and in his reaction, he said that the opposition should prepare to participate in the election of people and votes.
Minister Fiqi shared this reaction with the people who use Social Media by writing on his Facebook page as follows; “The parliament to which these three elders belong has approved the election they are complaining about, and the Independent Election Commission has told us that they will announce the election schedule in the next few days. Maybe it will be introduced!”
Minister Fiqi took as an example the objection of the opposition to the electoral system and the criticism of President Hassan Sheikh. ).
