Puntland has written new guidelines for trade relations with Ethiopia, especially the Somali Regional Government.
The order is pressing to lift the ban on scheduled travel from the regions, which has led to the closure of Garacad by the last authorities.
The conflict in Dawacaley has greatly affected the movement of travelers from the Somali Regional Government, who used to take goods from the Berbera route. However, most of the travelers have shifted to Bosaso and Garada flights to continue their business activities.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Finance of Puntland said that the travel from Ethiopia has been temporarily suspended from the taxes on entry, especially the port tax that is due on the trip and the train with plates.
The Puntland checkpoints have been ordered to monitor all passengers in full, with the exception of road traffic as far as the city of Garacad and Bosaso.
