The President of the National Women’s Association Mrs. Batulo Sheikh Ahmed Gabelle explained in a letter issued yesterday the decisions of the National Women’s High Commission, and she revealed that Minister Bashir Goobe has trespassed on the House of Mothers and intends to kill her. .
The letter stated that the Ministry of Family and Human Rights Development is required to move out of the mothers’ house within 24 hours and also remove their belongings if they do not comply and any responsibilities that arise will be taken by the Minister.
The Minister of Family, Bashir Goobe, who held a press conference in Mogadishu a day ago, revealed that there is a decree issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, which states that the House of Mothers has been officially transferred to the Ministry of Family and Human Rights Development.
Minister Bashir Goobe has instructed all the different companies and individuals who live in the house of mothers to move out of the building within a short period of time and those who are working with the Government to register with the Ministry.
We do not know where the conflict between the Somali National Women’s Association and Minister Bashir Goobe will end if the leaders do not intervene in this matter.
