The Kenyan Criminal Investigation Agency announced that they have identified the main suspect in the murder of a mother and her two daughters.

The Kenyan Criminal Investigation Agency (DCI) has announced that it has succeeded in investigating the brutal murder of three members of the same Somali family in Islii neighborhood in Nairobi.

Homicide detectives have identified 24-year-old Hashim Dagane Muhammad as the main suspect in the murder of a mother, her daughter, and her 12-year-old cousin, whose bodies were found scattered in different places on the 21st. October, 2024.

CCTV footage shows Dagane driving a Nissan Note (Reg No. KDQ 718Y), who was seen picking up the victims from their house in Islii shortly before he was killed.

The car was later found at Wakulima Market near the ENA training ground and was towed to the headquarters of the police agency for investigation.

The findings directly link Dagane to the crime. One suspect is currently in custody.

Kenya’s law enforcement agency has called on the public for anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the security agencies.

It was a few days ago when the Somalis living in the neighborhood of Islii held a protest demanding that justice be brought to those behind the killing of the mother and the two daughters.
