Some members of the People’s Assembly today submitted a Motion against the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, Ahmed Macalin Fiqi.

The MPs who submitted the motion against the Minister of Fiqi based their motion on their dissatisfaction with the work of the Ministry and pointed out that the Minister has limited all the work of the Ministry to himself.

The parliamentarians who submitted the motion also said that the Ministry’s seal is used by private companies, and the money received by these companies with the seal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not end up in the federal government’s coffers, and they need to review the work of the Minister.

The motion submitted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia, Ahmed Macalin Fiqi, is expected to be debated in the upcoming sessions of the Parliament, and the news adds that the MPs who oppose the Minister of Fiqi are conducting a large-scale campaign to remove Ahmed Macalin Fiqi from office.
