The interim administration of SSC Khatumo has strongly opposed the action taken by the Puntland administration.
The Minister of Information of SSC Khatumo administration, Najib Barkhadle Warsame described it as a violation and insult that Puntland claims parts of SSC Khatumo land.
“It is absolutely unacceptable that the administration of our neighbor Puntland claims some of the land of the SSC-Khatumo government. It is a violation and violation of the SSC-Khatumo government’s warning against the Puntland administration,” said the Minister of Information. SSC Khatumo Najib Barkhadle Warsame.
Minister of Information SSC Khatumo also warned the organizations involved in this matter to avoid anything that could cause a security threat as a result of a land dispute, and noted that SSC Khatumo is ready to defend its land and its residents.
This statement by Minister Najib Barkhadle Warsame comes as Puntland is planning to implement some of the Sool and Ayn projects it received from the German government, which is being implemented by UNICEF Somalia.
