The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, said that the Ethiopian government is looking for a wrong history with the aim of looking for land.
Prime Minister Hamse said, Ethiopia is not going to sea and investment in Somalia’s ports, but it wants to take part of Somalia’s land.
“Ethiopia’s intention is to establish a military base in the Red Sea to take over the country. Our position is clear. We went to Kenya together, we told them that we will not negotiate on our sea, they went with us to Turkey and we told them that we are never ready for any dialogue that affects our independence,” said the prime minister.
Hamse told Ethiopia that it needs to correct itself, and forget the false history that it wants to interfere in Somali land. He pointed out that in the past, Somalia is the only country that has no account in Ethiopia.
The Prime Minister said that he welcomes any dialogue that does not touch on the fate of the country, which is between Somalia and Ethiopia.
