The Al-Shabaab group launched a mortar attack on the Ethiopian military base in Hudur.

More news is coming out of a mortar attack last night by Al-Shabaab on an Ethiopian military base in Hudur district of Bakool region.

Around 10 mortars were said to have been fired by the group at the Ethiopian military base in Hudur district, as confirmed by some people living in Hudur who spoke to the local media.

It is not known the official damage resulting from the artillery attack that the group targeted the Ethiopian army base, and it was pointed out that the Ethiopian army responded to the attack with another artillery and the damage it caused is not known.

The attack that the group carried out last night in Hudur district is part of the attacks carried out by Al-Shabaab in the areas and districts where the government forces and the African Union ATMIS security forces are stationed.

There is no news from the command of the Ethiopian army and the South West administration in the city of Hudur, the capital of Bakool region.
