President Hassan Sheikh has appointed new commanders in the National Army.

A decree issued by the office of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has been appointed as the new commander of the Somali Armed Forces.

The appointment of these military commanders was said to have come at the suggestion of the Minister of Defense of Somalia Abduqadir Mohamed Noor.

The new commands that have been added to the country’s armed forces, which consist of four commands, are the command of the special forces of the country, the command of the training of the army, the command of reconnaissance and intelligence of the army and the command of the general support of the army.

The commanders appointed to the four new military commands are Brigadier General Ahmed Abdullahi Sheikh who was appointed as the Commander of the Special Forces Command, Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Ise Ahmed was appointed as the Commander of the Training Command, while Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Abdullahi Nur Beeryare was appointed as the Commander of the Intelligence Command. and the Spokesman and Lieutenant Colonel Ibrahim Mohamed Mohamud who was appointed to the General Support Command of the armed forces.

The leaders of the new Commands appointed by President Hassan Sheikh have been instructed to strengthen the fight to liberate the country from the Al-Shabaab group which is running in most regions of the country.
