The head of the Somali National Security and Intelligence Agency, NISA, Abdullahi Mohamed Ali Sanbalolshe, who is in Baledweyne, the capital of Hiran region, has started meetings to speed up the fight against the Al-Shabaab group.
The commander met in the city of Baledweyne with members of the Somali Parliament, the intellectuals of the region and different sections of the people of Baledweyne.
The meeting was about the general security situation in Hiran region and also how to speed up operations against Al-Shabaab group, and the commander stressed the importance of the Federal Government to eradicate Al-Shabaab from the whole country.
Members of the Federal Parliament, traditional elders and community groups who spoke on their behalf at the meeting thanked Commander Sanbaloolshe for his efforts to provide security and support the people of Hiran who are fighting Al-Shabaab.
The meeting in Baledweyne between the Commander of NISA, members of the Somali Parliament and various sections of the people of Baledweyne coincides with the governor, MPs and other officials coming to Baledweyne to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the chief of the Hawadle tribe, Ugas Yusuf Ugas Hassan, which will happen tomorrow.
