There is a huge debate on the land of the fire brigade headquarters in Mogadishu, where civilians have been living for a long time, and the Somali Police have ordered them to move from that land.

At the end of last year, the Somali Police Command issued an order to the residents of the fire area, which was to move out of the area within two months, but the order, which lasted until January 25 of this year, did not come into effect.

The Somali police who gave another chance to the people to move on the 1st of February this year, have yet again failed to implement the order.

The third warning issued by the police, which is said to be a final warning for the residents of the area to move, expires tomorrow, Saturday.

The residents of the area who spoke to the media said that they will not move from this area and that they do not know where else to move to.

“We don’t know where to move to. We have been living in this area for more than 15 years and I have become a refugee. I don’t know where to take my children. Hamar, no one is there for me. Tractors are threatening us and we are not going to move,” said one of the mothers who live in that area.

The people who live in the fire fighting area, whose deadline is tomorrow, do not show any preparations to move out of the area that the government said they need.

It is not known how things will turn out tomorrow when the government’s deadline expires, and it is worth noting that the government has said that those who do not comply with the order to move from the fire area will take action according to the law.
