Prime Minister Hamze appointed new ministers while others were dismissed

The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia Hamse Abdi dismissed two ministers from his government today and appointed two others.

The two ministers who were sacked are the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation of the Somali Government, Ahmed Madobe Nuunow, and the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Ismail Abdirahman Sheikh Bashir.

Prime Minister Hamse appointed the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation of Somalia MP Mohamed Abdi Khair Maareye, while the Minister of Public Works and Housing appointed MP Abdisalan Abdi Ali Dhay.

The inauguration and appointment of the two Ministers coincides, while there are still vacancies in three Ministries of the Federal Government of Somalia.

The ministries that are still vacant in the Government of Somalia are the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Internal Security and the Ministry of Women and Family, which was recently passed away by Khadijo Mohamed Diriye, and it is not known why those positions have not yet been appointed.
