It has been confirmed that 11 people, all of them children, have died of watery diarrhea that broke out in the neighborhoods of Baledweyne, the capital of Hiran region.
In the different hospitals in the city of Baledweyne, there are many children suffering from watery diarrhea, who are currently dealing with their medical condition.
Some of the doctors working at Baledweyne Hospitals we spoke with confirmed that the disease broke out after returning from the flood that hit the city and left the neighborhoods of Baledweyne with polluted water.
According to the doctors, the most serious areas affected by the floods are Bundaweyn, Koshin and Hawo Taako, which were the three areas that were heavily affected by the floods.
However, the water diarrhea disease that broke out in Baledweyne is coming, while some neighborhoods are still isolated in the water left from the flood which has changed color and is a major part of the outbreak of the disease.
