The Vice President and Speaker of the Parliament of Puntland administration confronted the committee for resolution of disputes and the approval of the members of the House of Representatives, who were appointed by President Deni.
The two officials who separated papers from their offices, described the committee appointed by President Deni as a committee that was not consulted and also lacks confidence.
“I declare to the Puntland community and other stakeholders that he has no say in the Arbitration Committee and the Approval of Members of the House of Representatives appointed by President Said Deni,” said Puntland Vice President Ahmed Karaash.
Ahmed Karaash said that the committee has followed all the traditional procedures that were used in the elections held in Puntland.
He also questioned their neutrality, saying that he was suspicious.
However, Puntland, which has overcome the controversy over the nature of the election and the doubts about the extension of President Deni’s tenure, has now entered into another dispute that could hamper the smooth running of the election. although efforts are underway to find a solution to the existing conflict.
